The Carmelha project, renamed A Fighera, is a bold achievement in a maritime and seismic zone. Born from the Monegasque ambition to create an emblematic symbol of the Mission for Energy Transition, the A Fighera tower project represents an innovative and sustainable approach. Combining energy efficiency and eco-friendly composition, the project has set ambitious environmental goals.
Founded on a concrete base that houses a tertiary platform, the building’s structure, entirely made of wood, is designed with a BLC exoskeleton, a core, and CLT floors.
The project is topped with an open-air space and photovoltaic solar panels, maximizing its renewable energy potential. The energy produced is stored through the integration of a hydrogen hub.
Commissioned by the Prince’s Government to expand the housing options offered by the Domaines Monégasques, the homes are intended for residents of the Principality.
